Bowen has a long and rich history and holds the title of North Queensland’s oldest town.
A trip to the Bowen museum will allow you to discover the heritage, settlement and industries of this diverse region. The town also celebrates its timeline with over 20 murals painted on various buildings depicting Bowen’s colourful past.
